Metal Industries was started by Mr. Onkarnath R. Manaktala in 1939.
What began as a small family venture, based on a foundation of
dedication, hard work and hope, grew in strength and purpose over the
years. The company, making its name with its Oil Seed Processing and
Crushing Equipment - with highly motivated staff - is now a
well-recognized manufacturing export house with an ISO 9000 CERTIFICATION.
It has become our forte to set up turnkey projects in Oil Mills, Solvent Extraction Plants and Oil Refineries. Our plants can handle various oil seeds and oil like sunflower, peanuts, canola, soyabean, cotton seed, copra and palm kernel.
Kumar Metal Industries is a company geared towards total quality management. This has helped us bring home several awards and certificates from the Indian Government and from the Engineering Export Promotion Council in recognition of our export and innovative prowess.
We are a company working on the principles of honesty, integrity, sincerity and dedicated to serve our customer's interest. Now, with the founder's sons at the helm of affairs, the company is a tight-knit, 200 people strong firm with its tracks in over 25 countries. More than 500 customers helped pave the way for this.
A company, which has built a considerable reputation in oil milling, refining systems and solvent extraction, it has also diversified into the plastics industry and in water purification plants. Now, it is ready to move ahead with even more vigour than before.
Its first task, one which is already underway, is to modernize its systems to keep pace with the rest of the globe. It's a constant process of replacing the past with the future.
But a few things do not change. The principles, values and ideology that was present right in the beginning, still remain.

MANUFACTURING INFRASTRUCTURE
Our factory, 40,000 square feet in size, houses 150 skilled technicians, quality control personnel, dedicated workers and the latest, most modern precision European machinery where we churn out projects for our clients.
Our fabrication facilities - making high pressure vessels and boilers - are equipped with trained X-Ray welders who work with passion and pride. For hard facing, critical wear and tear parts, our superbly trained TIG, MIG welders take over.
However, crucial to every part of the process are our Quality personnel, who check the project at every stage - from start to finish, ensuring that our clients always get the best of what we have on offer. Which is perhaps why our equipment has a reputation of being of robust construction, high quality, versatile and operationally profitable.
What's more, our vastly experienced personnel can also provide training to customers' operating staff.
